The LaserStrike game software has 9 different games modes available that ride over the standard game of LaserStrike.  The C.H.I.P.S. offer new and exciting power ups to individual players during the course of a gaming session to enhance the game play and maximize an individual's experience.  The computer will pick players at random from both teams to be in the designated mode for a period of time.  Every play in the game will get the featured mode during the course of the game.  Below is a brief description of all 9 C.H.I.P.S.

Deactivator - The Ability to deactivate opponent's vest with a single tag.

Energizer - The ability to energize your teammate's vest with a single tag.

Stealth - Impervious to all tags until you fire your phaser.

Super-Rapid-File - Ability to fire your phaser at incredible speeds.

Freeze-Ray - Ability to disable opponent's vest leaving them frozen for 5 seconds.

Invincible - Impervious to all tags.

Deflector - Deflect all incoming laser pulses back at the person trying to tag you.

Computer Virus - Ability to infect and disable opponent's vest with a single tag.
